How are Thai people saying greeting each other? Today I have picked two words to explore your Thai language learning. สวัสดี sawatdi Hello, Hi, Good morning, Good afternoon, Good evening. <br /> Thas word,สวัสดี(sawatdi), is usually to use to say greeting with other for any time. Not classify the time morning, afternoon and evening. /// ราตรีสวัสดิ์ Ratri sawat Good night. For more polite, Thai also has several words which are added at the end of a sentence to indicate the genre of speaker and to show respect to the addressee. So, simply put the word “ครับ khrap” at the end of any lines if you are a man. Likewise, in the conversation, if the speakers is a woman, use the particle “ค่ะ Kha” at the end of your sentences instead.
